Motivational Speaker

Jefferson Greene works toward making a difference in communities and in the world. Born and raised on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Oregon, an artist and writer at a young age, Greene still found himself experiencing the struggles of teenage years and growing pains. Under age drinking, suicidal thoughts, drug dealings, street brawls, intimidation efforts, weaponry, and reservation life were his backbone for years. Even an attempt on his life in 2001 didn't stop him. Yet in 2002, Greene left to study business, economics, and music. His passion was finally put into making a difference, coordinating student groups, participating in events, and networking with professionals. And after 6 years in school, he received a triple major Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, & Advertising. In the midst of it all, he is also a father to a young boy born in 2005. Jefferson Greene would like to pursue a Master’s Degree in Entertainment Business Management. 

Visual Artist

Jefferson Greene began painting in 2008, starting with a black and white dramatic piece that had Trading At The River Conference Attendees standing around in awe as he painted live. From there, Greene began purchasing canvases, paint, and supplies for this new found passion. Painting from scratch only what comes to mind, Greene has now found himself painting portraits and even helping with an entire wall mural at the local market. Still experiencing with different pieces, Greene continues to put paint brush to canvas. When asked about the medium, Greene added 'Some Indians will die with a life of successes, I will die with a life of expressions.'
